The Barn

"Your Northwoods' Gift Center"

The Barn has been standing behind the Oscar Issacson house which became Sweet Memories for many years.  About five years ago, as part of an expansion of the candy store, a hallway was completed to connect the barn to the candy store.  Since then, customers have been able to browse gifts and candy almost simultaneously.

Past customers of Sweet Memories will remember the Barn stock full of all kinds of gift items: signs, shirts, hats, mugs, books, and collectibles. All of these items can still be found in the Barn, but the candy is invading!  To lessen the congestion, the taffy and jelly bellies have been moved to the first floor of the Barn, and the gift items can now be found filling the upstairs and intermixed with candy displays throughout the store.
